Jonathan Weiss is an associate at the firm and represents the interests of consumers in individual and class-action litigation under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Mr. Weiss has a background in securities regulation and compliance, including defending individual brokers and member firms against regulatory actions initiated by FINRA. Mr. Weiss recently managed a team of attorneys defending building owners, engineers, and general contractors in actions brought before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings by the City of New York for violations of the Building and Administrative Code.
Mr. Weiss earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College, where he graduated summa cum laude as an inductee into the Phi Beta Kappa honors society. Mr. Weiss earned his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law, graduating with honors in 2013. Mr. Weiss is a member of the New York Bar.
