

About Michael Plati

Michael received his B.A. in political science-communications from Albright College (Reading, Pennsylvania) in 1990, and graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 1995. After graduation, Michael served as a law clerk in the U.S. District Court of Arizona for U.S. Magistrate Judge Morton Sitver (1995-96) and in the Arizona Court of Appeals for Judge James Sult (1996-98).
Michael practiced primarily on the defense side (real estate and insurance defense litigation) for several years (1998 to 2020) before moving to the consumer law practice area in May 2020. His practice at Consumer Attorneys focuses on claims brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and for Automatic Stay/Discharge Injunction violations.
