Moshe O. Boroosan is an associate in Cohen & Mizrahi’s Brooklyn Heights office, where he practices consumer finance litigation. Mr. Boroosan has been recognized as a “Rising Star” among class action litigation attorneys in the Metro New York area.Mr. Boroosan has years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes and appeals in both state and federal courts. Before joining Cohen & Mizrahi, Mr. Boroosan worked at one of the world’s leading complex litigation firms, where he practiced securities litigation on behalf of individual and institutional investors. During that time, Mr. Boroosan prosecuted securities class actions against multi-national corporations involved in major cross-border criminal investigations, corruption probes.
As a student, Mr. Boroosan worked for the St. Vincent de Paul Securities Arbitration Clinic, where he helped represent underserved investors in securities arbitration claims before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Mr. Boroosan is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, and the Commercial and Federal Litigation section. In addition, Mr. Boroosan currently serves as the Deputy Editor for the NYLitigator magazine, the quarterly ComFed publication, which features peer-written substantive articles relating to the practice of commercial and federal litigation.
Mr. Boroosan received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2015, where he served as a senior staff member of the St. John’s Law Review and the Journal of Catholic Legal Studies, and was the president of the Jewish Law Students Association. He received his B.A. from the Neveh Zion College in Telshe Stone, Israel.
