Tara Keller

Tara Keller is an experienced litigation attorney and negotiator, a 2008 graduate of the University of Montana School of Law, who represents individuals and classes in federal and state courts under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, as well as plaintiffs in motor vehicle accidents and employers and insurance companies in workers' compensation claims.

During law school, she won First Place at the ABA Negotiations Northwestern Competition and earned an Outstanding Advocate Award with the Environmental Moot Court Team at the national competition. She also participated in an International Human Rights Study Abroad program in San Jose, Costa Rica, and was honored with the Order of Barristers Award in Courtroom Advocacy by her law school.

She served as Of Counsel at Consumer Litigation Associates in Alexandria, VA (December 2016–2025), where she assisted with discovery, litigation management, negotiations, and pleadings for FCRA individual and class action claims in federal court. Prior to that, she worked as Associate Attorney at Slocumb Law Firm in Washington, D.C. (July 2017–July 2018), handling personal injury claims in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C.

Earlier in her career, she was an Associate Attorney at Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi in San Diego (July 2012–July 2016), where she managed a workers' compensation insurance defense caseload, conducted depositions, marketed to corporate clients, and taught a CLE course on Medicare set-asides. Before that, she served as Associate Attorney at Samuelsen, Gonzalez, Valenzuela & Brown in San Diego (January 2009–July 2012), where she managed over 230 cases involving depositions, court appearances, legal research, and complex injury defense.
