happy lawyers celebration event

Consumer Attorneys is a team of top-tier, highly talented lawyers. These four were recognized nationally.

Any law firm would be thrilled to have an attorney make one of the coveted Super Lawyers lists. We’ve had four attorneys earn this recognition and couldn’t be more proud.

If you’re not in the legal profession, you may not be familiar with the Super Lawyers brand, but within the profession, it’s a powerful brand that has been active for over thirty years. By providing search capabilities and a stringent and hard-won platform for recognizing high achieving legal talent, Super Lawyers has built a formidable reputation in the industry.

The platform uses a proprietary process for examining a candidate’s record, from cases won, settlements attained, experience, industry accolades, and involvement in the community broadly (including pro bono work, non-profit representation, and community service). Candidates are heavily researched, including an indepth peer review process, and a final decision is guided by a professional advisory board.

There are two designations for recognition- Super Lawyers and Rising Stars (for those under 40 years old or with less than 10 years of experience). Lawyers nationwide apply for this recognition across 70 practice areas, but only 5% of attorneys get selected as a Super Lawyer and even less (2.5%) get selected as a Rising Star.

And guess what else? You can’t buy your way into being a Super Lawyer. You can’t nominate yourself or campaign for selection. It really does all come down to your record and your reputation. Under this narrowly focused microscope, it is an absolute honor to be selected.

Our Super Lawyers!

👏 Susan Rotkis (Super Lawyers 2015-2021, 2023)

Susan Rotkis is a partner at Conumser Attorneys who has represented consumers in more than 500 matters in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and federal agencies, including multi-district litigation. Susan frequently presents at consumer protection conferences.

Our Rising Stars!

👏 Daniel Cohen (Rising Stars 2021-2024)

Daniel Cohen is the Founding Partner of Consumer Attorneys, with a proven record of winning class action suits and protecting ADA rights. He is a member of both the Association of Consumer Advocates and the National Consumer Law Center.

👏 David Chami (Rising Stars 2016-2020)

David Chami is the Managing Partner at Consumer Attorneys who has successfully tried cases from civil rights to consumer protection. David has served as lead or supervising attorney in nearly 500 credit reporting lawsuits!

👏 Janelle Romero (Rising Stars 2022-2024)

Janelle Romero is a passionate advocate for employee rights. She has represented hundreds of employees and built a following of over 50,000 through her educational videos on TikTok.

Their hard work and dedication to consumer protection law have helped so many fight back against unfair credit reporting, background check, employment, and debt collection practices. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievements and their collective commitment to fighting for justice.

Congratulations to Susan, Daniel, Janelle, and David! Keep up the amazing work!

Our Entire Team!

One of the truly best things about our legal team at Consumer Attorneys is that even without the formal Super Lawyers or Rising Stars designation, we are 100% confident that all of our lawyers are worth the accolades!!

We are selective in hiring because we take our commitment to our clients, to our conscience, and to our legal practice seriously. The team we’ve built, and continue to grow, demonstrates its tremendous legal strength daily. We appreciate each and every one of our attorneys and thank them for continued excellence!
